Happy Memorial Day Weekend!!  Let me start by saying how thankful I am for all the amazing men and women who’ve fought for our freedom.  I feel extremely fortunate to live in a country where I can freely pursue my (delicious) dreams!

This Memorial Day weekend finds me and my love in Las Cruces, New Mexico.  Doesn’t sound very exciting…until I tell you that we’re here for the Southern New Mexico Wine Festival!!  Wine, food, live music, and arts & crafts.  I couldn’t think of a better way to spend a weekend!

I’ll be posting live on the scene of all the grapey, fermented fun, so stay tuned for a summary of all the hits and misses.

I LOVE to cook, bake, and entertain for friends and family for two reasons: 1) I LOOOOOOVE food!! 2) I am a people-pleaser. I get my joy and warm, fuzzy feelings by making others feel loved and taken care of. What better way to do that than with a delicious, home-cooked meal?!
